Inspirational Quote About Getting Started
I don’t know about you, but it was super duper tough to roll out of bed and get started this morning. We had a lovely relaxing weekend that was spent not doing much at all, which was a nice change. We did a bit of shopping and cooking, and then mostly parked on the couch to watch some TV shows and movies and play some games. As a side note, we started watching The Americans and are totally hooked, so if you’re looking for a new TV show to check out, I can definitely recommend it! Plus it’s already been renewed for a second season so you don’t have to worry about it suddenly disappearing.
Back to the slow start to the week, it totally doesn’t help that it felt like it took me forever to fall asleep last night, not to mention my body of course feels like it’s an hour earlier than it actually is due to the time change. In fact, if it wasn’t a nice sunny and warmer day, I think I would be inclined to go back to bed and take a nap even though I have a ton to get done. I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s feeling the pain of trying to power through the day, so I thought we could use an inspirational quote about getting started.
I really love this quote as I always have a never-ending check list of stuff to get done and I think it’s part of being a woman to lean towards multitasking. On days like this it’s easy to get wrapped up and overwhelmed stressing over what I need to do instead of taking it one task at a time and actually getting things done. I guess it’s kind of like the whole can’t see the forest for all the trees sort of thing.
Do you ever have days where you get overwhelmed by everything you need to get done that you have trouble getting started? What do you do to help give yourself a jump start?
